On Friday at Oaklawn Park, the featured race is the $600,000 Apple Blossom Stakes. Restricted to fillies and mares, the Grade 1 event will be contested at a mile and a sixteenth on the main track and has drawn a field of six. 
The Grade 1, $300,000 Madison Stakes features a stellar field April 9 at Keeneland as 13 fillies and mares are set to contest the seven furlong event on the main track. 
On Sunday at Aqueduct, the featured race is the $200,000 Top Flight Invitational Handicap. Restricted to fillies and mares, the Grade 3 race will be held at a mile and an eighth on the inner dirt track and has drawn a field of seven. 
The graded stakes action will begin on Saturday at Fair Grounds with the $400,000 New Orleans Handicap. Carded at a mile and an eighth on the main track, the Grade 2 event has drawn a field of ten colts and geldings. 
Amid a bevy of graded stakes action Saturday, March 22 at Fair Grounds, the Grade 2 Fair Grounds Oaks features a field of eight three year-old fillies in a race that will leave plenty to the imagination of handicappers around the country. 
On Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs, the stakes action will continue with the $200,000 Florida Oaks. Restricted to three-year-old fillies, the Grade 3 race is scheduled to be run at a mile and a sixteenth on the turf and has drawn a full field of fourteen. 
The 25th running of the Grade 2 Mac Diarmida Stakes March 5 at Gulfstream Park features a field of seven veteran turf runners set to go a mile and three eights in an interesting betting race.
